Dear African in diaspora,

It’s world immigrant Day today, and I’m particularly grateful for a number of things!

I remember how it all started; the journey, Sigh! My very young family moving between countries. We would have barely settled in a place before it’s time to move again due to the nature of my spouse’s job.

Through it all, I’m most grateful for the opportunity to use my experiences to grow a thriving community in which you’re in. This community of ours continues to help both new and existing African immigrants find their way, and how the social community rallies around one another, suggesting, advising, and doing all they can for another who needs help is simply incredible!

I’m all in my feelings today, and I know it has to do with you. I’m grateful for you and there’s really no other way to say it.

As we celebrate this day together, I want to implore you to commit to making life-long genuine connections, creating opportunities for others, and also connect other African immigrants to Hubsquares

Every time I meet a new member of our Hubsquares community, I know their stories and goals will resonate with mine. It is a space where we keep making life-long genuine connections. There’s heart, commitment, and creativity in all we do. I know we will continue creating opportunities for ourselves so signup here if you’re yet to and follow us on all social media platforms.

LD.
